Kathy contributes her substantial experience in Public Relations and helps build our clients’ brands through differentiated and relevant positioning strategies and highly effective media relations campaigns.
As a co-founder of the world’s first video search engine, Blinkx (LSE: BLNX) in 2004, Kathy’s evangelism of disruptive mobile and search technologies garnered global media attention.
In 2006, Kathy co-founded Consort Partners, now a leading technology PR firm with clients including King.com (Candy Crush Saga), Pinterest, Sprint, FreedomPop, and Dictionary.com, among others.
Previously, she held business development and advisory roles at Firefly, online loyalty firm Netcentives, HP, Lockheed Martin, Dentsu, and Intel. In fact she met Alfredo Muccino while consulting at Intel, where they started working together on the Intel Inside campaign, and have been collaborating ever since.
Kathy was voted “2004 Agenda Setter” by silicon.com alongside Apple’s Steve Jobs, eBay’s Meg Whitman, and Chinese Premier Hu Jintao. She was also recognized as a Finalist for the Stevie Awards for Women in Business Lifetime Achievement Award 2008.
Kathy has served as a consultant to Japan’s Prime Minister, Junichiro Koizumi, and was closely involved with Japan’s first inbound tourism campaign, “Yokoso Japan,” as well as Japan’s Foreign Direct Investment strategies.
